Here are the the sixteen outstanding projects chosen for greenstories 2025. These stories promise to bring fresh perspectives to wildlife and environmental storytelling. Each of these films showcase the unique narratives that connect us to our environment and the urgent need for conservation.

Set against the backdrop of a rapidly changing climate in the Himalayas, Downhill Kargil is an obsevational coming-of-age documentary that follows three teenage Muslim girls, who form a women's ice hockey team, defying patriarchy to claim their freedom - only to find their dreams entangled in a much lager fight for identity, land, and survival.
